How to Collaborate

Connect with students

For more information about recruiting students in the Computational Science and Engineering programs, contact Cathy Chute, IACS Executive Director. For general information about recruiting students at Harvard, contact the Harvard Office of Career Services.

Work on a real-world problem

Working with partners from industry and academia, students in the CSE Capstone Project course complete a collaborative project on an open-ended, real-world problem. The course is intended to integrate and apply the skills and ideas in computational and data science that students acquire in other courses, such as data management, machine learning, statistics, and visualization.

To learn more about becoming a Capstone course partner, contact Pavlos Protopapas, Scientific Program Director.

Be a part of the community

Each January, IACS sponsors ComputeFest, a two-week program that includes one week of skill-building workshops, a three-day student computational challenge, and finally a day-long symposium on the future of computation in science and engineering. ComputeFest 2017 activities will take place between Monday, January 9 – Thursday, January 19, 2017.
