Chile-Harvard Innovative Learning Exchange (CHILE)
The CHILE program is a multi-part on-site research collaboration with peers and faculty at the University of Chile and Pontifica Universidad Catolica de Chile. Harvard students work to solve problems drawn from astronomical data collected at various observatories in Chile. Problems cover topics in data management, data systems, machine learning and algorithmic applications.
This program is open to students in the Harvard Master’s of Engineering in Computational Science and Engineering program or Harvard students pursuing a PhD. Selected Harvard students will travel to Chile during wintersession to begin research collaboration.
