Applied Computation

Applied Computation at SEAS uses computational and data science principles to solve challenges at the frontiers of natural and social science and all engineering fields.

Both of the Applied Computation (APCOMP) degree programs, Data Science (in partnership with the Statistics Department in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS)) and Computational Science and Engineering, are housed within the Office of Master's and Professional Programs (OMPP). Students in the APCOMP programs are trained to solve real-world problems and conduct innovative research by using mathematical models, algorithms, systems innovations and statistical tools.
